I hope all goes well with the surgery and you heal up soon. That holster rig looks great! You might want to follow Larry Pottersfield's advice though, you always need "at one more" gun!

I admire your son...I never took to aerobatics very well. I'm a straight and level, low adrenalin pilot.

"I'm a straight and level, low adrenalin pilot."

There's a lot of longevity in that statement! My employer puts out a weekly email blast related to any significant events that take place with flight operations during the previous week. That communication comes out on Thursdays. As part of our crew briefing, I always tell the first officer some of our goals for the trip is not to be on the "Thursday update," and not to be on the news.

A tip-of-the hat to my peers at Southwest for their airmanship, and leadership, during their event the other day. The NTSB, under the awesome leadership of Mr. Sumwalt, will determine why the crew was placed in that challenging environment, which led to a fatality. A tough day at work for everyone in the airline industry.

Thanks for the comment regarding my son, who along with his young peers, will be the next generation of pilots ready and able to deal with future challenges.
