I picked up the Davy Crockett smoker.

It?s a small version of their full size smokers that way I can take it camping with me. It?s big enough to smoke a good size turkey. It has WiFi that connect to an app on my phone to be able to make temp adjustment and set cooking profiles
, temp probe and can also be used as a grill.

I?m looking forward to using it and will post my very novice attempts at smoking.

Anyone have this smoker?

Nope, but my brother wishes he had gotten a GMG. He got a Traeger, only goes down to 180, the GMG went down to 150, at least at that time. Myself, both are too hot for how I like to smoke my salmon, otherwise they are great.

I have a Daniel Boone. Had it for about 6 years. I really like how it cooks. I have looked at the little ones but haven?t justified pulling the trigger on one yet

A friend I showed this to said the same thing. He like to do a cold smoke on salmon at 95 degrees. This one doesn’t go below 150 but I’m sure would still work fine.
