2010 hoyt alphaburner.....always wanted a hoyt and this is my first one. very smooth draw at 60 lbs and very fast....424 grain arrow at 282 fps at 58.5 lbs.

Was thinking of going with an Alphaburner. Just wandering what you thought of the short brace height, as far as accuracy and forgiveness goes. I am shooting a Vantage Elite for target archery and really enjoy the spiral x cams.

Hoyt Alphaburner and Hoyt alpamax 35 cant go wrong with either one , but if I really want a challenge I turn to one of my collectable Bear Recurves

Had the Element in 2011 but sold it and shooting the Invasion now. For me its not the bow it's archery in general. Be hard pressed to not find a bow in my hand in my spare time.
