Hilltop I love this pic of you and your bull. The landscape behind you almost looks unreal, let alone to find a stud bull in it! Very nice!

This landscape was the main reason I burned my points on this tag- It is unreal to hunt elk in this terrain. If you go back to my original post on page 1 and look closely at the picture you can see the herd of elk just above my elk hind quarter and slightly to the right. They ran to the bottom and circled up a bit after I dropped this guy. In this country, the elk act more like antelope when they are spooked- they run for big open areas where they can see a long ways.

Hey thanks, I've been good but real busy with some meetings. Just about done with them now and chomping at the bit to go scout for some bears. I picked up a permit today.
I drew a good moose tag, but it's in a hard to get to place, some big bulls live there though. My wife drew a good local "any bull" tag that we'll try for first.

Doing great, trying to get into better shape for the B.C. hunt and I got lucky a Drew a special bull elk tag in Montana. Oh ya playn a little golf to. I've been doing a little turkey hunting so far this season I got one, nothing big.
