This fall I plan to hunt with FMJ's. Now I was thinking, with having that heavy of a shaft how am I going to keep the FOC very high at all without my arrow feeling like a chink of iron? Anybody played around on the FOC on the FMJ's and see how it affects accuracy?

Not sure on your specs but the 340's at around 27 to 28" raw shaft should put you around 10-10.5% foc. That would be sufficient and it will just come down to your tune and ability from there.

Im running 340's with a 28 inch arrow, I shoot fusion 2.1" vanes, 3 vanes, no wrap, standard knock. I am so close to 11% its not worth rembering whats after the period.

Im shooting a carbon element at 70# with a 27 inch draw length. I have played with a few different things to bring the FOC down but I love the way they shoot at 11 so i have never gone higher.
