Fly Fishing Forum?

I've had a fly rod for a long time and once in awhile I blow the dust off it and take it fishing. I've never put much effort into it and usually default to my spinning rod when I go fishing. I'm usually more interested in putting fish in the freezer than anything when I go fishing.

That being said... I seem to have contracted the fly fishing bug and am more interested in pursuing it. I'm definitely a rookie so I thought a good forum might be in order? I can see where if you were new to western hunting a forum like this would be very helpful so I'm looking for one on fly fishing where I can start to learn some of the basics and more. With an emphasis on western/ mountain/ and possibly Colorado fly fishing.

So... any of you hang out on a fly fishing forum you would recommend? Getting ready to head to the local fly shop to see about getting some much needed new gear and get started!

Thanks Matt. I live in an area with exceptional fly fishing. Not sure what took me so long? Another hobby and all the confusing gear that goes with it I suppose... not to mention another hobby to spend money on! My wife loves that part, LOL!!!

Yes the wives do love that part.
When you get it all squared away let me know I would love to come out and fish with ya. Even help a little if you need it, but I'm sure there are plenty of guys in your area that can steer you in the right direction. Good luck and post some pictures when you get going.

Tahoe, Yosemite,
You have Speypages or Keines fly fishing forum. I started fly fishing when I was just a kid and never looked back. Amazing the amount of scouting you can accomplish while fishing a high mountain stream.
