Fishing Fulton Texas

I'm going to be in Fulton later this summer with family. Anyone ever fished down there that is willing to offer advice or recommendations? I'm interested in hiring a guide for a day and plan to shore/pier fish a few days - kids along for all of it. I have experience with specs, reds, flounder etc... just never fished that area.

I would get a mr bubble bucket and buy live shrimp. Fish them under a cork or on a Carolina rig. I would for sure try either of the inlets to the Rockport beach park. I am not sure about access, but that would be a starting place for me.

If your pier fishing make sure you have a plan for getting the fish up.

Or, at least a better plan than I have always had. Its quite a redneck rodeo when I go...

HEAVY LINE and a pair of gloves so you don't cut the crap out of your hands. lol
