I will be out chasing does and will probably tag out early, looking for some place to try and fish (from bank), it can be any where in the state. I have been reading about the "mile", also thought about below boysen res or maybe above?
There is some excellent fishing below Boysen! If you.are willing to fork over the extra money for a reservation fishing licence, wind river canyon is really good!

I wasn't paying attention to where you hunting close to, but even this NE corner of the state has some good spots fairly close like Hilltop was saying head for the hills. The Miracle Mile is a about an hourish out of Casper I think. Probably close to when the browns are going good. That river is still pretty good right in through town in Casper, or going the other way is pretty good from Seminoe to the Colorado border. Probably still good, but haven't ever tried south of the border. They are pretty strict about who comes in and out of that border, too. The Green and New Fork on the Southwest side probably don't get mentioned enough. They are favorites, too but far away from me.
Browns and brookies will be spawning. Lots of great fishing all over. What area of the state.
Mountains streams, small mountain res. even the Platte River. Small mouths from bank on Gray Rocks, walleye too.
Bring your spinning outfit and catch many different species.
I'll be hunting south of Cody, but will go where ever in the state to try for some good fishing. Will be making a trip up in Reg G to do some elk scouting for a future hunt as well.
