This is a total crock!! The problem is that who ever took it isn?t a hunter. Might call themselves hunters but obviously they are to lazy to hunt hard

Same thing happened to a guy in Oregon this year. Amazingly about a week later the guy that stole its mom reported it to the cops, and the hunter did get his rack back!

Unethical.... Seen this story as well made me upset. We all know what it takes to harvest a great animal and the dedication, for someone to steal from another hunter is ridiculous. Its almost common knowledge and respect for fellow hunters to assist and help one another never steal or hurt the sport in any fashion... disgusted...

A buddy had 2 white tails stolen out of their camp a few years back. They never figured out who it was. I would be just by this thread alone it happens a lot.

It happens frequently in Alaska. Moose antlers get stolen, even torn off of houses, shops etc. to be sold to antler buyers. I had a really nice matched set of moose and a large caribou antler taken from my yard. They were just naturally shed ones that I picked up, not ones I killed, but it bugged me just the same.

I had a big set of moose sheds taken off my front porch. Side note... If you have an antler dog keep it on a leash from point A to point B while walking it near homes at night. Haha one night he kept bringing me sheds from peoples flower gardens!! Ha I had to go knock on doors the next day to see who's was who's.

lol. I had a big mulie shed in the flower garden. one night I was sitting on the porch drinking a cocktail and a dog ran up grabbed they antler and drug it off down the street while I watched and laughed.
the dog could hardly even run cause he couldn't hold his head straight under the weight.
never did get it back ,just figured that ol antler meant more to the dog then it did to me. losing it was worth the laugh.

These thieves are pretty luck a hunter was around they have got shot. When I was a kid Oregon this happen a couple times every season where my dad and his buddies hunted. There was a woman who shot a really nice 6x6 and she stuff the tag way inside the ear. Some hunter a couple camps down came in and took the head with the horns. The lady and her husband saw the bull at this guy's camp and called the game warden. They went to the guy's camp and he called the woman a liar and he legally shot the bull. She walked over an pulled her tag out of the right ear. The guy was dumb founded and got what he deserved. Some people are just plan stupid anymore
