Curious who all put in for an elk tag this year and where? I'm going for my first elk hunt this year, Wyoming, area 40 type 1 tag. I will be on a guided hunt as I've never hunted elk before.

If I personally hunt elk, it will be on a general, any bull tag and perhaps an antlerless tag here in UT. I am hoping that my mom draws out on a Manti muzzleloader tag like I had last year. If she draws that, I'll be helping her get her bull!
Put in for a cow elk tag in WY area 54. I should draw it and will be hopefully hunting deer at the same in the Cody area in region X. Will be my first elk hunt ever, put in for tags in WY before but didn't draw, and will be using it to familiarize myself with the area for when I get enough points to draw a Type 1 tag.

I put in for the special general tag in wyoming as I have no points. Plan on hunting units 89 and 90. First elk hunt in any state other that WA. Would have loved to hire a guide for the wilderness archery hunt.

I cant put in for a few more months!!! but deff right here in Idaho, and will of course buy some chances at wining another super hunt tag. I enjoy hunting Idaho to much to apply or put in anywhere else. if I don't draw the tag im after I know I still have an awesome chance at a superb bull or buck with otc. good luck on your hunt airborne!

We put in for the Wyoming "special" bend over no lube general license, looking at 21,13,102,104 in no specific order.

Crossing my fingers on trying to draw a Missouri breaks rifle tag in mt. If not then will just use rhe general and apply for a cow tag close to home

A friend and I are going in on horse back for elk. We are going to be 15 or so miles in a Oregon wilderness. The plan is to stay out there for 18 days. We will have bear, cougar, deer, and elk tags. I'm also going to put in on a couple low percentage draws through out the west for late season hunts.

Wyoming antelope this year. Had an awesome diy elk hunt in unit 23 this past season. My buddy n I both tagged our first bulls!
