Ya I can't imagine how anyone could manage a deer herd when in one year they can be decimated like that. I assume a complete start over. So you guys that know, how do you get rid of EHD.

Boone and Crockett Country just had a great show on diseases. I'm watching it now. EHD looks to be a big topic. Did any of you see this show?

The deer get ehd from an insect, so you hope for an early frost to kill the little biting fly. It's doesn't kill all of the deer so it's not a complete start over,but I have seen spots I think it killed 70 to 80 percent of the deer.
