Electronic Issues Won't Stay Downloaded to iPad?

Mods, sorry if this is the wrong spot-please move if that is appropriate.

I have electronic subscriptions for EHJ and EBJ. For awhile it worked fine, but for the last several issues it will show downloaded and I can tap an article, but it never stays downloaded-each time I log out it wants to download again. If I am not connected, I can't read the issues.

Has anyone else seen this issue and fixed it?

Make sure you download the page view version and the text version.

Also, check your storage. Apple products will delete things if you get close.

I hate to say it, but I discontinued my Eastman's subscription about a year ago. It just became a hassle to save a PDF copy of the MRS on my computer. I made a few attempts to straighten it out. The last time I was able to make successful downloads, the copies I downloaded would go to "print" each time I opened the file. I would have to stop "printing" then I could view the document.

Last Saturday I stopped by the Eastman's booth at the Portland Sportsmen's Show and tried to get things resolved but didn't get much further, I was directed to buy the paperback version of the MRS and that the 2016 "would be coming out soon". I'm already well into my 2016 hunting apps.

If I recall correctly, back when things were working well for me, I was able to have full access to the MRS with a EHJ subscription only (I only bow hunt when it gives me unique opportunities). Downloading a PDF of the MRS was very straightforward. I would likely renew if I was confident it was once again. The way I work is I download all my research resources on to my laptop, that way when I am researching a hunt it is easy access it when ever/where ever I have the opportunity to work on it.

My interest in the MRS is twofold, the Wyoming MRS (Eastman's home state) where I personally feel the MRS info is the most accurate and beneficial and that it is the current MRS that all the subscribers are seeing.

I love the electronic magazines, easy to access and search on the ipad..and it saves some trees. Everything was fine for me through the June/July EHJ and May/June EBJ-but the issues after that don't stay downloaded. I can still download them from wifi but it is harder to read them and you can't read them off-line. I can still access the MRS when I sit down to do applications. You can also get them off the website.

So I love the electronic ones, just trying to figure out this one bug. Seems like Apple has become like Windows with the updates causing as many new problems as fixing old ones.

My wife will download songs onto here phone, have over half of her memory and it will still send them to the cloud.

I talked with our 3rd party app host again today, they have a ticket to address this again. If I hear back I will update.
