Since I can't post a new thread in the Ask the Eastmans section I'll post it here.
Why are the Magazines MRS stats printed so small one needs a magnifying glass to read it? This is a huge disservice to subscribers. I don't even use glasses and I can barely make it out.

Has never been a problem for me either. No glasses

You should get the digital subscription. You can expand the stories and read one word at a time if you want.

I've never had a problem reading the magazine. I compared the print with a few other magazines and the print size looks the same.

All you guys saying it's easy to read: check out the Montana mountain goat MRS chart and tell me it's easy to read. I have 20/20 vision and it's difficult for me.

It is not easy to read and I have 20/20 vision. I subscribe to other magazines and the MRS is the hardest to make out. It seems if someone says this then the regulars jump in and say that it is easy to read. It is not the same size as the other magazines. If your readers bring up the same complaint over and over, it might be good customer service to look at it instead of always saying it is fine. Just my thoughts.

I have found the MRS print size difficult to read at times. There are some sections with very small print on a background color I find hard to read on occasion. I know they try to put in as much info as practile, so have not and do not plan to complain. Give me the info, I'll use magnifying glasses if I need to, but usually my reading glasses work OK.

truth is ,if the print was bigger some would complain. smaller print ,some will complain. often , the same people. people love to complain . you can't please everyone and there are some that it is impossible to please and one should not waste energy trying.

I figure, if someone doesn't like a product ,they should just refrain from buying it.

I'm not the expert.....however comma...I'm sure it's a balance between amount of data, type of data, best way to display it, best way to minimize extra pages, past history comments and lastly cost versus everything. I personally have no issue with how the data is presented.

I'll also go as far to say (CO data only) .....the data in the MRS only gets you into the ball park to start real analysis of a GMU IMO. It only scratches the surface based upon hunters stats vs tags calculations. Don't get me wrong it's good stuff to get and probably the best thing out there for a Non resident that can do limited to no scouting. To get them pointed In a good direction.

Lastly......the majority of the 10% club never even looks at that data and focuses more on herd size, health, male to female ratios, herd management plan......etc etc.
