Once these things get started, they are very hard to stop. If they come to your state, the best thing to do is stand up to them and run them off just like Arizona did. They will make it sound very appealing and give everyone a chance to win lots of tags and gear the first year or two. A lot like a drug dealer giving out samples. Get em hooked and then get your way with them. It is truly sad to think that the organizations whom people believed in are the ones doing the worst things to our sport. Keep up a good fight.

I find a couple of statements made by the author of the story are bit troublesome to me. Namely that wolves will never be a problem in Utah. If you really believe that, IMHO you have your head in the sand. He also has a problem with the coyote bounties. I'm not sure that the bounties work, but I am convinced that coyotes (and other predators like lions) do take a significant amount of deer and antelope, especially the fawns.

I am not in favor of the whole concept of groups like this contributing large sums of money to G & F departments in return for favorable legislation that directly benefits them. We should really be wary of this practice.
