Ear Protection When Hunting

I am right there with you Cowboy. Mine will shut down when the noise reaches a high level, I don't have to shut them off when I shoot. And they do act as an ear plug. I'm pretty happy with them for hunting.

I usually have that feature shut down, but could turn it on. Thanks.

I've been keeping an eye out for sales on e-muffs. Midway USA has a good sale on a variety of muffs. But the best deal around is at Lowes of all places. The muffs below are 50% off. At that price I bought 4 pair. They get decent reviews but I have not tried them but hard to beat the price.

I have a pair of those. They are ok but I get a squealing noise with mine when the batteries get weak.

At that price I'm just hoping for something better than what we have, currently non electric kind of muffs. I have no grand illusions these are the greatest thing since sliced bread. At that price I was able to get 4 pairs (usually the max number of shooters) and just leave at the cabin.

They are good ear muffs. I didnt mean to sound too negative about them and that is a great price.

I just slip in orange ear plugs before i shoot when hunting. I usually have enough time.
