I drew a CO Bighorn tag this year. Pretty stoked and still can't believe CPW decided to stuff a tag in my pocket.

With the sudden revelation that hit me like a ton of bricks Friday morning, I've already started the diet/exercise program.

I've already knocked off 1.6 lbs since Friday and it's only Monday. This week I'll be trying to get these legs stretched and put a couple miles on them. I played some football in the front yard this weekend with my boys and quickly realized I've got to get going on the cardio. Trying not to overdue it early, is always the hardest thing for me. Gotta get settled into a routine and realize I'm not a 20 something year old guy that can just jump in the middle where ever I'd like.

That's it for now, and looking forward to what the next 4 months has in store.

side note, I wouldn't worry too much about weight loss per-say.

I'd focus on the cardio and/or adding some muscle, and let the weight numbers fall where they will.

I've been working on my diet and light jogging with hotel stairs. I travel a lot for work, so when I'm on the road it is the hotel stairs or their minimal work out facilities. On off days, I've been working on core training I can do in a hotel room without disturbing the occupants below me. So, leg lifts, crunches, etc. So far ... down 16 lbs ... I'd like to knock off 6 more and that'll put me at 165 lbs.

I made a 20.1 mile round-trip hike yesterday into a location where a few sheep have been killed in the past. Found 3 rams on top of the peak I wanted to look at. He was probably 3/4 curl. Not bad, but I'll keep looking.
