Myself and a friend just got back from our Wyoming rifle hunt in Sweetwater county.

I shot a buck with a double prong, and the more we have talked the more I thought about it, I dont' think I've ever seen a buck exactly like this. Anyone have pics of something similar on the hoof or the wall?

Very cool! Congrats on a great hunt. Those are pretty rare for sure. I have never seen one alive but I did see one on a wall years ago.

My niece got one last year that had 9 total cutters. Most were under an inch, but pretty cool. Yours is one of the few I've ever seen that had descent length to it.

Nice character buck, I'd shoot him. Small 1" prongs coming out the back side are pretty common but I've not seen one quite like that.

I shot an antelope buck years ago, that had a horn growing out of the bridge of his nose. It was about 1 1/2"-2" long. pretty weird.

As 30Hart has said, I also have seen goats with extra prong-like projections on the back of the horn. Also many small points scattered all over both horns is common in some hunting areas.

I've never seen one like your buck..great job! Small knobs are pretty common on Wyo bucks but not much over 1/4" long. The buck I harvested this year had quite a few on each side just below the prongs. I shot one quite a few years ago with a 2nd prong coming off below the first prong but the 2nd prong was only around 1/2" long. It would be interesting to see if there is anything irregular on the horn pedestal (skull bone under that area of the horn)?
