bummer . I hate it when that happensthis weekend was the weekend you dream about all summer, un real powder. Then my sled caught on fire Saturday, got it out quick and ran the backup for sunday and Monday.
The blood contrasts so well with the snow...I love all the seasons but winter is just special.

Those are a few things that livestock owners sign on for when they buy their first couple of livestock. It goes along with pulling calves, castrating, and dehorning. Not to mention dealing with predators, sickness, and everything else. Then if you have a alfalfa field bucking hay three or four times during the hot months of summer.I saw it on another thread and believe it's true.
Anyone who loves winter must not have ever taken care of livestock. Chopping ice in water tanks, getting equipment started, etc...
AH yes , the sleepless nights of calving season, black toes from the cold endless days of bucking hay to keep the herd fed. and on it goes. Those are a few things that livestock owners sign on for when they buy their first couple of livestock.
