I will post a pic tonight from my garage of the little space heater. The dog is usually curled up next to it while I get my workout it, it has been pretty ridiculous cold here the last couple of weeks.

Chris is pretty famous in the sled world

Yea he is quite well known a real down to earth guy, good father, and passionate elk hunter. Most of the videos he posts are about 10-30 min from my house. Also if you are looking for a build some super crazy cool stuff coming out of there..

Snow here has also been incredible for skiing/sleds but getting deep for the deer again.. 2 hard winters out of 3 sure will not help them out. It will be after july 1 before the backcountry passes melt this yr for sure.

Also one short video of another reason winter is cool.. Private land as this is Colorado.

I love winter, i blurted this out last night after a couple of beers.

Had just a killer ride yesterday in some big boy country. Pulled some tough lines(hill climbing) and i could tell my buddy Jason was smiling down on me. Long live winter

now i have to get ready for an ankle surgery that will put me down for 12 weeks.

I saw it on another thread and believe it's true.

Anyone who loves winter must not have ever taken care of livestock. Chopping ice in water tanks, getting equipment started, etc...

Scott,

That warm air is also scheduled to massage Iowa later this week; don't work it too hard so we got some left! [emoji38]

Those are a few things that livestock owners sign on for when they buy their first couple of livestock. It goes along with pulling calves, castrating, and dehorning. Not to mention dealing with predators, sickness, and everything else. Then if you have a alfalfa field bucking hay three or four times during the hot months of summer.

I remember them fun days....

AH yes , the sleepless nights of calving season, black toes from the cold endless days of bucking hay to keep the herd fed. and on it goes.

still ... it all separates the men from the boys and doing these things in my youth shaped me into the man I am today.

A CITY SLICKER WITH A PENSION !!!!!! LOL ;)

the grumpy old men come out, I am just going to say Carhart coveralls are probably one of the best pieces of winter work gear ever created, but absolutely suck recreating in the winter. I will let you figure out if I have done both.
