Sorry for the delay but I finally had a chance to get a few of Troy’s hangers on the wall. They are sturdy! He ships them bare metal. I decided to spray paint a few of them. And think I will spray the rest as well be fore I hang them. A quick clean with break cleaner and two coats of spray Rustoleum and they look great. The deer hangers hold mule deer whitetail and antelope although the hangers are a little wide for antelope. They do not hold big horn sheep as they are too close to the wall.

The elk hangers are a different design than the deer but are just as sturdy if not more so. With two screws in a stud I would have no worries hanging the heaviest bulls.

here are a few photos. I will get more up when I finish the wall . 338013380233803

Its looks like I should have included a longer carriage bolt to ptrotude nose away from the wall more. The idea there was to set how far from the wall the beam will swoop back. We will use a longer carriage bolt from here out. Thanks for the feedback buddy. Btw very nice collection of bones you got going there. Some studs for sure.

That bull is probably not the best but be to use for reference. He is pretty uneven. I will get you photos of a smaller bull and a bigger bull on there that are both fairly symmetrical.

There are a few different size classes of bulls on the same hanger. The carriage bolt was extended all the way on all three. You could maybe use a about 3/4” longer bolt or move the pieces the Bolt is connected to a little farther forward. That would push the antler tips a little closer to the wall. Either way they are super sturdy and look really clean hanging on the wall. Thanks again Troy.
