Deer Camp

This was our second deer hunt for the year.
We went to a new unit we’ve never been before but with info from a buddy that has killed some good bucks in this particular area.
5 days of glassing and no big bucks we’re found my hunting partner filled his tag on this buck I found on the first day after about 10 minutes of glassing.
Weather was mostly warm except on day we had some snow but it was windy as hell for 3 of the 5 days we were hunting.
All in all it was a good time. We saw a ton of beautiful country and had a killer spot to camp.
Next is a deer tag for a friend close to home then my elk hunt.

Very nice bucks!!
I like the fire pit too ... it’s always fun to sit around a fire in the evening but we can’t do that in Colorado this year.

winchester remeber the raining for days in idaho post? I was in rain gear for 8 days during my elk hunt. slash piles are being burned everywhere here.
