89, 21, 20 antelope Y Muley- 89 was a long shot but 21 is a 100% and we have private land locked up.

I've just been buying points the last few years, but decided to throw my name in the hat for deer and lopes last night.. Special draw for both, have about a 10% shot of drawing one of the other.. Which means I will draw one, and screw up some other plans somewhere else down the line.

i would personally rethink 89 deer unless you can do some serious preseason scouting and have a minimum of 1 week to hunt

I'm not planning on drawing for quite some time, but I might as well let the state borrow some of my money for another 3 months, and then give it back, less my preference points. 10% chance > 0% chance

On a side note I jumped into the Antelope draw for unit 75!! Driven through there a hand full of times and looked like some good country to hunt

I'm thinking the same thing with my 5 PPs and wonder with the PP creep whether to even buy any more or chuck it as a lost cause and just keep hunting my leftover tags every year where I'm happy while I save up for one last high country guided hunt before I croak!

Seems like right now for deer you either need max points or no points. I have 3 and sometimes I wish I didnt have any because there are regions I would like to hunt I could draw with 0 points but cant 2nd choice and dont feel they are worth the points either.
