Awesome pictures! Did he miss or the buck catch him at the last second?

My dad was 15ft above him for a long time, but the buck was under an over hang and could only see his feet and a bit of antler. He couldn't get a shot and tossed some rocks to the side to get him to stand and still couldn't see him when he stood. He threw another pebble and he spooked to where he could get another shot but didn't stay long

We both actually passed on this buck during rifle season. He was in the same bed. Not very wide. Been a good trophy with bow
