What model to you get?Well, I drank the kool-aid.
Found out that Scheels carries Crispi boots, so I went and tried some on. Not ready to write a rave review until I get a couple dozen miles on them, but they seem pretty top notch.

Got about a mile on them, mostly running up and down my back deck steps. They are really comfortable so far.
I bought the Scheels West River model. The footwear department manager gave me his business card, and said if anything ever happens to them, bring them back, and we replace them for free. I said, well except if I shoot a hole in them (Being the smart ass I am). He smiles, and says, even if you shoot a hole in them. We actually talked for probably 20 minutes, and I brought up every possible scenario you could think of for them to fail, and if they would be covered under warranty. That's when he went and got his business card, and wrote guaranteed for life on the back of his card, and stapled it to the box. I thought, we'll I'm sold. What model to you get?
yep!!! they are a no brainer.Got 7 miles on my boots today. I'm glad I drank the kool-aid! Rocky, steep terrain, had about 30 pounds in my pack, and my feet feel great!
I've always been impressed with how light Crispi boots are compared to others in their category, no matter what model it is. Lots of good boots on the market today and Crispi is definitely one of the elite companies. Anyone ever try out the Valdrez? They are unbelievably light for how much stability they provide. Same with the Hunter.Crispi do a great job making their boots comfortable out of the box. Much less break in time then other brands.
You will like them.IKIC, going this morning to get feet measured. Going to go for the Crispi Nevada Legend uninsulated. Making the change from my Kenetrek’s.
Have them home and wearing around the house. Thus far I like them much better than my Kenetreks. Though I like the Kenetreks, I think my feet have changed with age some. Therefore, the Kenetreks are just slightly to narrow for my liking. Prob don’t even have 200 miles on them. Somebody I know will want them, in great shape still. The Nevada’s are super comfy right out of the box. I think I made a good choice. You will like them.
I have to agree with the feet changing with age. I was a Lowa lover for years but then they started to hurt my feet. I changed to Crispi and I have happy feet again.Have them home and wearing around the house. Thus far I like them much better than my Kenetreks.
