Copper bullets

I have taken a few elk with solid copper bullets. If you hit significant bone they perform very well within the velocity range recommended. I have also had a pass through with a very small exit hole that I didn't care for. Elk died within a reasonable range but the blood trail was almost non existent. My preferred bullet for all big game is now the Hornady Interbond. I however don't think it matters what controlled expansion bullet you use as long as you do your job. I haven't seen a single elk get away that was hit properly, regardless of the bullet.

150 gr ttsx for my 3006. Hits hole for hole. I have shot many elk with that round and don't see a reason to change it. I shoot copper out of all my rifles with impressive results
