Colorado unit 201

I used my 21 elk preference points to draw a muzzleloader bull tag in unit 201. I plan to make 2 to 3 scouting trips this summer before the season opens on Sept. 14th. Does anyone have any advice on unit 201, particularly if you have hunted it before?

No, by eating the price of the NR tag I kept them, BUT I didn't get a point for that year, it takes about 5-7 years to catch up one point in the non-resident pool.

Actually both units 2 and 201 are individual tags for muzzleloader. I'm restricted to 201 only, but you won't hear me complaining.
Have you hunted or spent much time up in 201?

yes sir i work in the area, live in the area and have friends that guide most governor bull tags for the state in the area. It's my home! For a tag of a lifetime resident or not i will help you out with info as much as you want! Sounds like some guys here also know the area well! Think you are in ofr some good info and a great hunt!

I appreciate that very much and if it helps I am a resident but I live +/- 6 hours away on the eastern slope.

My friends all know me as a picture taker so you'll see plenty of photos especially if I see anything worthwhile scouting and during the hunt.
