Colorado Hunting Boycott

I personally think the CO hunting boycott is a bonehead idea. As you can see it didn't do anything to damage the state Game and Fish. All a boycott would do, is hurt the good people in Colorado who think like we do. Those people are not the problem in Colorado, its the libs in Denver and Boulder that are the problem. The recall elections are a much, much better idea. The biggest problem in Colorado is the fact that the wrong kind of people have been moving into the state over the last twenty years. Now the good old long time residents that made the state great, are in the minority now. Sad deal for all of our gun loving, backcountry hunting Colorado bothers. -G
Sad but very true. I have a good friend that has moved from Co because of all this crap...and he says the same thing, "We are outnumbered by people that just moved here recently and what to change the state into another California"

The sad thing is all the votes are coming from Denver/Boulder where everyone has moved, they basicall control the legislature. Glad they are there instead of here in SW Colorado. Our reps to the state legislature don't need recall as they really reflect our values down here.

I moved here 14 years ago (from California!) when I retired and thought I'd left that crappola behind me.

No chance....I love it here. If I were ever to move it would be to Wyoming. I made a recruiting trip there to U of Wyoming in 1959 for football, but went to another school instead. Might have been a mistake!

I hear ya, that's where my buddy moved. I also considered going there to play football, went east instead.

Yes, thank you to all the NR hunters who come to Colorado and provide the bulk of funding to manage our wildlife.

Your welcome.;) And thanks to all the residents who never get off the road:p

Just another thing to sneer at politicians about. Today the 3rd legislator to face a recall about her vote on the recent anti-gun bills, resigned rather than face a probable recall and defeat. She resigned so that the Democratically controlled State Senate could ensure that the Democrates will still control it by 1 vote. They can now appoint whom they want instead of an election which they surely would have lost.

Ahhh politics................

Same problem here. All the votes are in the seattle area (king county) and they pretty much decide everything statewide and eastern WA really doesnt have a say in it.
