So the back door is when you go into the DOW website and go like you're purchasing a license. After you enter your info you can choose purchase habit stamp and other licenses or something like that. Once you click that it takes you to a page that shows your pending apps or licenses held. All pending or unsuccessful are a 4 series number. If you are successful it will show a 5 series number. It doesn't tell you what choice you drew just that you were successful.

So I was successful in Utah! Can't wait for Colorado! I tried the back door method and am not sure what I am looking Kodiak 32? I am on the habitat license page and have for example my deer app is shown as this (2015-491 non res deer app) Is that the 5 series you # you were explaining?

So I was successful in Utah! Can't wait for Colorado! I tried the back door method and it seems the 4 series number would be 2015-491 non res deer app if I were unsuccessful but my point only app for elk also reads 2015-488 non res antlerless elk app. Could it be that I have not been put through the drawing yet? If I were successful for the pnt only elk shouldn't it read 2015-588?

I don't think that any elk drawing results are there yet. Mine shows nothing. If you were successful on deer the number should start with 5XX. I think the last 2 numbers indicate season, sex, etc, just guessing tho.

Took a quick drive after work today and ran into a couple groups of bucks this guy was nice enough to let us take his pic. With all this moisture it sure will be fun to watch them fill out this year.

Good luck to all who drew!

Yep seen a few like that down here too, just didn't have my camera. Last weekend went to Pueblo for a Shriner event and saw quite a few elk going over LaVeta & Wolf Creek Passes. The bulls already have brow tines started and up to a foot of antler growth.

Yea it is looking like a good year to have a tag!

I talked with a long time water forecaster yesterday and he said the water content in the soil is at a 15 year high and the trees are at a 20 year high right now. Who knows but it is looking like this is setting up to be a banner year for horn growth in Colorado. I dont know the last time I have seen the vegetation this green this early.

I wonder when elk will post?

Down here in the SW part of the state, we have had a real wet spring. Lots of wet snow and rain. It rained some every day last week. I just read in the local paper that we are 140% of normal so far for May. Next week I am planning on spending a couple of days looking around in the area I am going to hunt elk & deer in this fall, as it is only a few miles from my home place.

Thanks for the tip on the CO back door. Looks like I drew a deer tag. Now to decide if I still want to apply for WY antelope.

Got my antelope tag as well. Should be a buck seeing how that is the only antelope tag I put in for. Can't wait!

OK, Are you sure this 500 thing is correct? Are you sure the 500 code doesn't indicate that you have a refund check coming? If you are correct I drew an Antelope tag in 2/201. With the points I had going in it would have to be a hybrid tag. You know how rare that is for a non-resident?
