I haven't heard anybody say they have a 500 code for deer, so the backdoor isn't open yet. Should be any time, in the next few days.

Finally, after three previous misses, I drew a 591 non-resident deer tag. Muzzy season.

Finally got through...591 Non Res Deer!. 4th Season rifle tag for me and Dad (applied as a group). 13 points did the trick. New moon foretasted for the 4th season this year, much better than the super moon from 2016. There will be lots of praying for snow in November this year! Very exciting.

I got a 591 code on a most likely 2nd choice deer,,my 1st choice was out of reach point wise,so I will be assuming I drew my 2nd choice,,,will have to wait for official results I guess.i assume there is no way to tell that with the backdoor method?

Not seeing 591 means more than seeing 491. If no 591 I'd count on not having a tag.

Bummer for sure long wait, maybe next year I guess. I am in the same boat with 17 points. I guess scouting will be happening this fall for us.
