Just thought id share my success. I moved to colorado springs two months ago and was not quite prepared for elk hunting. I figured id give it a shot at least so i went and got myself an over the counter unlimited tag. Went and scouted an area one time. And on my second time out hunting on the public land that id found i stuck this bull at 15 yards and watched it tip over not even 60 yards from where i shot him. The taxidermist guessed he will score 270 so that will put him into the pope and young club. Great experience!
