CO Unit 16 Zirkel

Hello Everyone,

First time Elk hunting this year and new to the site. We are tackling Zirkel Wilderness, unit 16, and have been pouring over the maps...at this point boiled down a few ideas but are waiting to do a couple of days of scouting before season.

Any insights on areas of success or preferred routes in?

Have you narrowed anything down yet...I've hunted 16 and know the area decent. I jump around between 16/14/161. Where are you going in on an access point and plan on making base camp or spike camps?
