My son is the lucky holder of the one Non-Resident permit for Cache Utah Bull Moose! We are really excited about his once in a lifetime permit, but now have a ton of work to do to show this permit the respect its due.
I am wondering if anyone would be willing to throw a few poiters our way regarding the area? Have hunted moose a fair bit, but never this South. Is the peak rut same as most areas, September 25th to October 7th approx? How hot is Northern Utah at the beginning of the season?
If you had this permit in your hand, how would you all hunt it?
