You might try looking at the OTC elk map http://cpw.state.co.us/learn/Pages/Maps.aspx and look up the harvest results for archery http://cpw.state.co.us/thingstodo/Pages/Statistics-Deer.aspx Write down the harvest stats on the map and that should give you some idea. Then go to the CO hunting atlas and look at the land ownership to see how much public land there is http://ndismaps.nrel.colostate.edu/index.html?app=HuntingAtlas
Then use the over lays to see summer concentration areas.
