Went and checked out Clark Canyon Resevoir the other day and saw a few. Never got a chance to release an arrow though. Probably be another month before there really stacked against the shores

i've bow fished once for carp in canyon ferry and it was the most fun I have ever had. I know there are carp in the ponds in three forks, close to town and there a bunch of them in there. I wouldn't mind getting a group of us out to go slay some carp this summer. Let me know.
Memorial Day weekend is usually hot at Clark Canyon. Fewer carp than Canyon Ferry, but I think much bigger fish. Friend shot a 32 lb carp three years ago out of CC.
Checked out the backwaters of the Madison by Three Forks yesterday. Starting to see some carp. Not going crazy yet, but soon. Need some higher water and heat!

That's cool that the carp are showing up on the maddy. The gallatin is cookin and I havent seen the lower maddy lately but I'm sure runoff is going on.
Carp starting to show up in the pond around Three Forks. Backwater of the Madison is filling up. Some carp, but no hot action as of today.

If the weather is nice tuesday after work were im goin over to Three forks to try and connect with some on a fly rod. Hopefully we will cya there.

Just talked to a guy at the fly shop and he said that the carp are starting to move into the shallows. Should be starting to ramp up any day now.
