Bought a new pse for my daughter and getting ready to set it up, there is a new drop away rest that recently came out, sorry can't remember the name of it but it is suppose to stay up longer to help balance the arrow threw the whole release process, its made of titanium and your suppose to use mole skin to quite it down anybody got any more info on it other than what I wrote down.

I'm not sure I understand the design- maybe a weird marketing technique? Drop away rests need to get out of the way of the fletching so they shouldn't stay up at all. A properly tuned bow will not require the arrow to be balanced after shot initiation. Different models drop at different rates so depending on the speed of the bow, some models will work great where others may not drop fast enough. I ran into this problem with my X-Force.

I'm not sure how old your daughter is or what your level of experience is so pardon if I recommend things you already know. IMO a wisker biscuit is the way to go for kids. It eliminates several potential arrow problems that Kids have at times. If you daughter is experienced then the drop away rests may be great.

Just make sure it is set up properly and tuned correctly ....... To get the full potential out of the reset and bow.....Can't waite to see some pic.s of half dollar sized groups........
