I did not see a moose, but saw the sign when I was in the Bondurant area in 2014.
Sorry, I don't have more info. Good Luck.

I spend between one and two weeks every year hunting around Bondurant. Moose sightings are all but non-existant. It should be great moose country, every year there seems to be less and less. There are a lot of wolves in the area. Go figure.

So first on topic. That is what my pinedale people say also. You used to see them right around bondurant every time you went over to Jackson but not as much now. Second is that road from Dubois to green river lakes still passable? It's been awhile always wanted to try that.

All is not doom and gloom for moose in the Bondurant areas. Last year we seen more moose than we have in a long time. But wolves are still in the area and not helping the population get to healthy levels that's for sure. While up in the high country scouting mule deer my kid and his buddy text me a pic of a wolf and he was packing a moose leg around with him and they said he packed it along ways as they watched him run around. We need to control the wolf population for sure and SOON111

Being seeing quite a few moose in the Pinedale area. There are also few of them in the Bondurant area, they hang around the river bottoms in the willows and have seen them in the Hoback river areas. Most have been on private land, although from east of Hoback Junction to Bondurant there's quite of bit of public land. Wolves are there though and surely take their toll.

As the title implies, how has the moose hunting been around Bondurant?

More specifically, I'm looking at Areas 10, 21 and 22.
For what it's worth. I have hunted there the last 5 falls. 3 bulls and 7 cows spotted in roughly 40 days of hunting.

Must be a couple around there, I hit one with my truck south of Bondurant in February this year.
