Currently using an MDT, so far so good with it. Used Swaggers for years, well documented that they performed well for us. Spartan Precision is one we recently reviewed and a lot of our team here really likes using them.

You need to see if you can use one when you get proned out.

I have a couple but have a problem bending my neck far enough to get a good view through the scope on level ground . One that I use on my 25-06 is tall enough that I can use it in a sitting position.

I have the Jim Shockey trigger shooting sticks but I got to thinking I probably can't even get prone to shoot with my knees and back so it doesn't make sense for me to put bipods on my rifle.

I tried a shooting stick when I was up in Wyoming on my antelope hunt and it was better than most. The rest part was a block that was about 2"x3" that you rested your rifle on. Of all the shooting sticks that I have used it was the solidest rest that I have tried. The only problem was I didn't get the brand or model number. But I'll be looking for it.

I just looked and it is similar to the Bog-Pod Death Grip

I have used a Primos for years. it doubles as a walking stick too. I started out with a single leg and I have gone to 2 legs. It is more stable when shooting than the single leg. As I have gotten older I really depend on the walking stick portion a lot.

These are on the spending side, but they are tall enough to use sitting.

I have never used the bipods, but i have used the shooting sticks with the flimsy legs that are held together with shock cord.
For me the shooting sticks have had way more flexibility, in varying terrain. However, they are not super stable.
