Best WY Antelope Unit?

I'm wondering the trophy potential in the best WY antelope units?

I probably will be building points for a few years to come and won't be back to WY for antelope again for quite some time, so I'm considering putting in for the best units, top 3 units perhaps.

I'm wondering what could a guy expect to shoot if he hunts hard? or do you think it's just a coin flip, ie more likely to shoot a monster than in a lesser unit, but can't count on anything?

Honestly on my next antelope hunt I probably won't shoot anything less than a booner/82"net, and after seeing some 95" monsters, man o man a 85-90 would be insane!

I'm sure it's no secret what the top WY units are either, ie hardest draws etc... curious what you guys consider the top units.

Thanks guys.

Does WY produce a 90" every year? I'm sure they produce quite a few over 85" every year.

Do you think these big boys come out of everywhere? or more come out of the top units?

I wonder if it would be better to hunt a new top unit int he future or hunt the unit I hunted twice now and just really hunt hard/hold out for a monster or nothing, although I'm not sure how many bucks over 82" are in this unit.

I guess I'm just thinking out loud guys, thanks for any insight/suggestions, I guess down the road too I can always hire and outfitter in one of those top units and say I want a monster or nothing. Although if I did that why not just book that same hunt in NM on a top ranch? I think I just talked myself back into DIY WY antelope.

well seeing how wyoming state record is 91 i would say that its rare for wyoming to produce a 90, a reasonable monster to find would be in the 84 range without hiring a guide, imo

Area 74 is producing good antelope, but there is some great herds in 73, I watched three seperate herds come together there last october and the action was amazing. I wished I had a video camera it was spectacluar, had the opportunity to take a decent buck there, but I saw some amazing bucks in Kaycee but did not have a tag for that unit. Any unit in Central Wyoming is going to be good right now, and hopefully in the next few years. North East is starting to peter out with some hard winters and over hunting, but the animals are still there.
