does least amount of wolves = most amount of hunters?

hopefully some wolf hunting will help deer/elk quality...

but aren't wolves just 1 of the many.... ie.. cougars, black bears, brown bears, coyotes?

Yea it probably does = most hunters.
There are way to many predators in Idaho. All have an effect on the herds im sure.

I can't recall the unit number off the top of my head, but I'll see if I can describe it and get you in the general location....it's east of Oregon and Washington, south of Canada, west of Montana and Wyoming, and north of Nevada and Utah.

In all seriousness Unit 40 rifle hunt if you can draw a tag with worse than 100:1 odds.

But really if you guys are going to be immature keep your post to yourself. I hunt several units and i was just curious what units other people hunt. Hopefully you guys are having fun with your posts. Most of you are probably the guys that sit in your truck and drive around drinking beer and hoping a elk will run into your bullet...

No we're not, but to come to a forum you just joined, and ask us where to hunt. Doesn't go over well here.

Now that you can't seem to take a joke, and feel a need to insult us. I'll be surprised if you get any help.

Since you are in Eastern Idaho, I'd check around Island Park. I've heard of several elk taken there. It's been a few years ago though.

Hi Darrin. I think the question you posted got some good natured teasing, and I'm not too sure that personal insults are the best come back.

The replies you received, was because you asked a very forward question on one of your first posts. Most people would not walk up to someone they just met and ask them about the best place to hunt. That same etiquette tends to apply on hunting forums as well. But those kinds of questions are asked over and over again by new guys on hunting forums. That kind of question, especially when it is one of their first posts, does not usually go over very well. VANISH said it well, "that is not the kind of question to ask".

I hope you hang around, share your experiences and contribute. If you do, you will likely develop relationships with guys who would be more then happy to give you some advice. If the advice is specific, it is usually shared in PMs (personal messages) so its not out there for the whole world to read.

Myself, like the others was just poking a little fun. There was no need to start insulting everyone. It really is a good group of folks on here with alot of good advice. Hope you stick around.

Alright since everyone in this thread isn't from idaho let me let you know how the idaho hunting works. When you buy a tag you get two to four units typically. Therefore if i said i hunt the teton zone i could hunt two different units. So i figured if someone hunts the big desert units they would say i hunt the big desert zone.
