You will get the same answer by a ton of people here. unless you have shot the bow do yourself a favor and at least shoot a bow before you buy one. there will be a bunch more deals on ebay. but it will pay off in the long run. go shoot as many bows as you can at any archery shop, any friends bows. and go from there. i have no experience with pse but best of luck bud. your getting into a great hobby!

Ya you definitly want to know your Draw Lenght too. Because if you purchase a Bow with to long of one it will be a waste of money... And alot Of bruised goose eggs on your arm... Defenitly go shoot the bow that you are going to Purchase......
I appreciate the advice. I went to a local shop and they said I have a 31.5 draw, I am a big guy with extra long arms, but it seemed almost too long when trying one of their bows. I'm doing my homework. Any thoughts on the Bear brand? I don't see it too much on these forums.

Know Matter what Bow you are Thinking of definitly Shot it first. See how it feels and How it Shoots. You will want something with a smooth Draw and Alot of Let-Off (which All most All If Not All Newer Bows of Today have.) Next Rememmber the Great the Brace Height and a Longer Axle to Axle Will Be More Forgiving... But, Also with that said you our Also going to want something that fits your Hunting Style... What I mean about that. Is if the Bow is to long it maybe Very Occured to use in a Pop Up Blind or in some Tree Stand Situations..... Something else to remember weather it is a Mathew's, Hoyte, Bow Tech, Bear, PSE or Elite. Or ANY OTHER Bow Manufactor Out There They have ALL at one Point In Time Have Manufactor A Bow with FLOWS... This is another reason to do Research And Shoot the Bow That you are going to BUY.... AND with ALL THAT SAID find a reliable ARCHERY SHOP in your area... It is Alot more Fun and You will shoot a 100 TIMES BETTER with a BOW THAT is SET UP PROPERLY... And He or She maybe able to give you Tips on Proper Form and the Way you grip the Bow And That go's along with Releasing the Arrow Properly. Weather it is with Fingers or Release..... I Hope All This Helps Out.......

I wish I had long arms... I have to find people like you in the grocery store to get my stuff off the top shelf. I used to climb up the shelves but after slipping and falling out of the freezer in the frozen foods section, I just wait for someone to help me or just write it off.
Definitely shoot some different bows first. Find something that is comfortable and feels good to shoot. I have shot some bows that I couldn't even stand to hold.
