I haven't been around EF much, with some responsibilities elsewhere and a DIY road trip AK hunt, but I have been having fun catching up on EF. Looks like it has been a successful year for a bunch of the EF faithful!

Yep,

It was my first time in AK. First time for all of us in that area. Just some online research, and into the backcountry we went. Pretty lucky I guess. Our third hunter, Austin, filled his tag on a small bull with two days left in the season. 3 for 3 isn't too bad.

Yeah, first moose. Jared and I got tired of unsuccessfully putting in for moose in MT. We bought our tags OTC at Walmart in Fairbanks. Felt kind of weird.

We got the meat back in an enclosed trailer with the ATVs. We used citric acid and gamebags, and it made it through the trip perfectly. Not an ounce wasted.

BB your buddy came and showed me all the pic's of your trip. That sure was beautiful country and I'm not sure, but I believe I had drool on desk-top. Post up a couple pictures of those recovered Accubonds for us to see. I figured they would work just like they always do!
