17A deer tag for me. Not a trophy unit but at least I have a hunt somewhere as I have not had much luck in the draws this year!

I draw a coues tag every year. My problem is getting drawn for desert bighorn. I'd like to draw that tag before I'm dead.

I’m probably not telling you anything that you don’t already know, but 36B can be fun for Coues in October…. Just be careful and keep border patrol on speed dial. Last hunt down there we called BP everyday sometimes twice a day.

Bring good glass and plan on a long shot 300yds+. I have not taken a Coues less that 330yrs with a rifle. When you say “late rifle” is it the December hunt?

UB-AZ -- Yes, that is the December hunt that I drew. I have Vortex Razor HD for binos and spotting scope. I plan on using either 270WSM or 7mm Rem Mag; both have CDS turrets installed on the scopes and I'm ready for long shots.
