arrow opinions please

Playing around with archers advantage and came up with these variations of my current arrow set-up. The only change I made is point weight, of the 4 options which would you pick and why?

Arrow #1
Weight- 464 gr.
F.O.C. -12.2%
Velocity- 269 fps
Arrow stiffness- marginal stiff

Arrow #2
Weight-494 gr.
F.O.C. -14.5%
Velocity-262 fps
Arrow stiffness- marginal stiff

Arrow #3
Weight- 513 gr.
F.O.C.- 16%
Velocity- 258 fps.
Arrow stiffness- marginal stiff

Arrow #4
Weight- 539 gr.
F.O.C.- 17.6%
Velocity- 252 fps
Arrow stiffness- slightly stiff

I"ll go with arrow #2, plenty heavy for most game, good F.O.C with respectable velocity. From there you"ll have broadhead choice and then it all boils down to how well they shoot at distance...

Throw out 3 and 4.....FOCs are too high hence the slightly lower speed......unless, you are only shooting 40 yards and under

If 2 flys well then I'd go with it because its heavier weight and FOC at the upper limit.......which is where I like to be....or at least what shoots well for me.

Really no difference between 1 and 2 though so what ever flys well between them.

Agree with slugz. I personally have a 501 grain arrow. Sometimes I wish I was in that 475 range, but it wouldn't mean much velocity change. If you are just trying to decide, use some hot melt to put a few inserts in and shoot some groups to see which one your bow likes. Either 1 or 2 are good, 3 and 4 are a little heavy in my opinion and don't gain you too much.

All arrows are generating in the ballpark of 75 pounds KE so to me it boils down to which one shoots the best for you. All are generating plenty of energy for elk. I tend to lean towards faster, flatter trajectory arrows so would likely pick #1 or #2.
