Area 93 antelope

I finally drew an antelope tag as a NR. I picked 93 due to the fact I elk hunted there about 10 years ago and saw tons of antelope and the biologist in the area told me it was a great area and I should come back someday to hunt them. Well that fine gentlemen has retired and I have no way to contact him.
My main question would be what week of the season should I hunt? The season is longer than I can be away from home so I have to pick a week within. I may have the flexibility to decide a few weeks prior to the season in case of a big weather event. I do know if it’s rains a lot getting around could be a challenge.
Other thing in my mind are last winter affects and hunting pressure. I would sacrifice on trophy quality for low hunting pressure so I’m wondering if I should go later in the season. But with tag cuts is that a concern? Any input or advice would be appreciated, I’ve only hunted antelope one here in Oregon so I’m a new at this stuff.

Hunt it in Sept and you may get to hear some elk bugling. Weather will be better then as well, should be anyway.
Good fishing too in that area.
Ruffed grouse as well as dusky grouse up in the mountains, might be a fun combo hunting trip.

Well men, it’s time I become shameless. Im
Not one to publicly as for help on anything, in fact I pride myself for being self reliant. When I applied for this tag I wasn’t awful busy but boy how things change! I have failed to try to contact any biologists due to the fact I get so damn busy at work I don’t think about it to be honest.
The main thing I need to figure out is my camping situation. I’m likely going to bring a run around rig behind my pickup with a camper. I do know if the weather turns and the roads mud up the camper set up will be a struggle.
The run around rig will be a smaller truck that can cover way more ground than a side by side but I don’t necessarily want to drive 30-40miles to hunt.
Any base camp suggestion out there? It a fairly big area so I need a starting point.

its been 8-9 years since our antelope trip. we went mid October and only seen 3 other vehicles during our trip, all of them were on the weekend, weekdays seen a couple ranchers. it was great. it was nice not having the heat or much dust to deal with also. we were closer to Casper area.

I’m heading east in a little over a week. I haven’t seen any success stories one antelope yet, wondering if anyone has been out yet. I’ll be hunting the first week of October. All I have left do do to get ready is shoot my rifles and make sure they’re still dialed. I’ll be bringing my .280AI and the new Henry .243.

Im with you on timing. I’m going out shooting this weekend to make sure my rifles are still good to go and leaving for deer on the 4th.

I have helped a couple people fill their tags. Here is one from last weekend in an easier to draw area that wasn't impacted by the winter kill.
Not a giant but a good representative for the area. The hunter was very happy with him since it was his first.
