Water hole............. pit blind or ground blind, probably the most commonly used method. Patience will be your friend.

Spot and stalk is alot of fun if the conditions allow... I took this one last year with my bow. Lots of fun! Good luck!

Tried the be the decoy. Unless its rut time (which is during rifle season in NV) they could care less. Just my experience.

Congrats!!! What unit? OTC or draw unit? I applied for unit 18, but got a point. Which was expected considering there's only 9 tags.

I've used blinds on water and spot n stalk. I've had success with both. I prefer rifle spot n stalk

If conditions are good and dry and you've scouted a waterhole antelope are using, it's as near a done deal as you can get. I hunt antelope with a rifle and bow all the way through Aug-Oct, and each time period has it's own special qualities. In my opinion there's nothing like watching a buck come in to get a drink, unaware, and sticking him at close range.
Spot and stalk is possible but more difficult (which can be great), and another tactic is sitting a fence crossing. If you can find agricultural river bottom then I would hang around the hay meadows!

My Mom used it last year and it made them really curious and got them to come in. She had a few chances to take a shot but didn't.
