A good friend of mine drove down from Minot to this camp today, the tents (or anything worth anything is gone) and the cleanup has a long way to go. Unbelievable what those folks did to that area, the local tribes that he spoke with were furious at the degradation of the land caused by the "protestors".

Yes indeed, these are "Sacred Grounds" the tribes want to protect. Leaving behind an ecological disaster like this gives the Indian tribes zero credibility in my opinion. They should have to repay the American taxpayers for every dollar spent on catering to them. Bus tickets and Hotel vouchers? Fire the guy who thought that was a good idea. Now they're spreading out the damage onto other property close to the area they already trashed. You can't make this stuff up.

Anyone remember the Iron Eyes Cody commercial where he starts to cry about pollution. They should play that for everyone on the reservation. It's an absolute crime to see what went on.

Yeah Cowboy, I remember that commercial, it seems the protesters didn't see that. It was filmed in the 70's, most of the vandals...I mean protesters probably weren't born yet. Yep, the Tribes are sure 'nuff worried about pollution.
