So I have 89 hours and 40 min until I get on a plane for my hunt, checked and rechecked and shipped the gear and rifle(confirmmed delivery) bought extra batteries for the camera .... I check the weather once an hour, read and reread the proper magazines and books ..... but the clock isnt moving any faster .....

Anyone else have this issue ?

I really was most of August. Now that it's almost here and the weather is cooling off, it's actually calmed down a little.

Season starts here on Saturday. I don't expect much this early, but it'll help pass the time until I head out to Wyoming in 2.5 weeks. I've got a gear list together, maps printed, food prepped/frozen. I'll probably start piling stuff on the porch in another week.

Really anxious to get into the woods! Although I have to wait until October before my first hunt (antelope) I will be in Wyoming this weekend trying to help my buddy fill his moose tag!! Hopefully we get lucky and at least I will get out! Can?t wait!

Leaving friday afternoon to hunt opening day high country muleys. Only a 2 day hunt but last year we had 2 in the truck by noon!

As I alluded in another thread, starting to feel like I'm way behind in prep; with roughly 4 weeks left to tie up the loose ends.

I could say I spend my lunch breaks lately staring at satellite and topo maps of Wyoming, but would be lieing as I do that all year long. [emoji38]

Been there and back on a bear hunt, got some relatives coming in 2 weeks for 5 days of antelope hunting. Unfortunately there is nobody to do my work when I'm gone, so I'm trying to catch up from being gone last week, and work ahead for my time off for antelope hunting. So, I'm plenty busy.

Yep. Ready to go. My hunting partner keeps changing our hunt dates and it’s really making me mad. I may just leave without him! Priorities dang it!

Finishing up the insulation project on my cargo/hunting/utv trailer conversion...probably 2 days left. Then going to the range to shoot my 25-06 and start packing the trailer. Buddies getting here from California on the 30th, then off to Wyoming to cut down their goat population . Got the state ORV permits and my F350 is serviced. "To Do" list getting shorter.

Can't wait to leave but so crazy busy at work right now. The stress builds as my truck is in the garage and they can't pin point the issue as it develops a miss under load mid gear range and the fuel mileage droped from 15mpg to 11mpg> 2010 F150 with 250,000miles. I guess Im on the fence about going and picking a new one up.

Might consider renting something.. unless you're ready to buy another anyway. I hate to be rushed when buying a vehicle. Good luck!

I have been seeing some great buys on 2018 F150's lately.
