A guy on another forum said he talked to one of the organizers and they said bobcats and mountain lions were the easiest target. They will get them first then go after black bear and sheep next.

To all Colorado residents: Please Vote!

I'm going to vote but not sure if it will do any good, I voted against the wolves and that didn't help.

It's pretty sad actually, there are about 10 million gun owners/hunters in America that don't vote. I know many claim that it isn't worth it anymore, but we can't complain if we aren't active.

Those same hunters don't care if certain rifles and handguns get banned or outlawed. As long as it doesn't pertain to the shotgun and rifle that they use twice a year.

I'm somewhat amazed that this posting hasn't gotten more attention. You may have noticed my other posts on other websites. I'm trying my best to get the word out to as many outdoorsman, friends, and relatives as possible.

The mountain lion proposition 127 in Colorado is real and if it passes would fuel the fire of anti-hunters across the West. I've enclosed a podcast and article below that brings to light the confusion about 127 and the impacts non-regulated and managed mountain lions could have on the livestock industry, hunters, wild sheep, deer, and other wildlife. You can be guaranteed that if this passes that it will be coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

This podcast explains some of the confusion:

Please read the following article about California wild sheep and mountain lions. Colorado will likely face the same scenario if this passes! You may want to pass this article along to those that are undecided whether to vote yes or no!

Below are the last couple paragraphs in this article and reflect exactly what is going on right now in Colorado!

"With this policy, California has in effect permitted an animal-rights agenda to override science-based conservation, which focuses on the health of populations and ecosystems, not the fate of individuals.

The lives of a small number of mountain lions are being saved at the cost of many Sierra bighorn, favoring an animal with wide distribution and a large population over one that—at least so far—has barely escaped extinction."

Commentary: Can the Sierra Nevada bighorn dodge extinction? It may mean reining in another wild animal (phys.org)

I have been wondering just who the voters are planning on believing. The TV adds put out so much miss information that it is scary. I just started seeing adds for those against it.

If I was a betting man, and I am I would say that it is too close to call until after the election. If the wolf lovers get together like they did on wolves we are sunk, but that vote only past by a very slim margin.

I copied this from another website:

Prop 127-CATS team attacks Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, and Wild Sheep Foundation in email to supporters. All evil “trophy hunters”. I guess RMEF, MDF, and WSF must be the “dark money DC groups” they keep trying to scare voters with. Very scary organizations.
