Last fall hunting season I saw a picture on the trophy wall in Sportsman's Warehouse loacted in Casper WY. The antelope looked big and the writing on it said score of 100+. Hunters name was on it but I didn't think of taking a pic of it at the time. Figured if it was legit I would see it in the hunting mags. Haven't seen anything on it and last month when I was through there the pic was gone. Does anyone recall seeing it or have any info on if it? Just been curious ever since. Thanks guys.

I think the world record was shot in az a few years back and scored like 96 or something or an another. I would think a 100+ would be a pretty popular topic.I'm guessing whatever you saw was not accurate.

That's what I'm thinking. When I saw the pic I knew it would be a WR if it held up. It was a shot of the lope and hunter in the field and it was a big lope but pictures can be sooo deceiving. Thanks.

Which ones. I know I could care less...
Many feel the same way... I have a BC buck and 2 P&Y bucks that are not listed in the books. Growing up in Laramie, it was almost frowned upon by our peers & elders to enter an animal in the books. My best friend in Laramie has several BC animals and a couple P&Y animals that he would never consider entering.

you'd think even if a guy didn't care about it that someone who had the pics of it would spread them around and people would catch wind of it. I don't know.

It may have scored 100 SCI... or in the 90's SCI...

I've seen some bucks on a wall before with scores like... 96sci....and 85 BC... big difference sometimes!

I should have taken a pic of the pic. I think it said score of 101 3/8" and his name which I don't recall. Hunter was an older gent that was a little rough on the edges. Could very well have been one of the Wyoming cowboys that wouldn't care much for all that goes with a WR. Still hoping someone else saw it that knows a little more about it and they will respond. I was there about Sept. 20th and again Oct 12th but don't remember which stop I saw it.

I'd give the store a call... and ask.

btw I would think anyone that shoots a world record would welcome some "free money" ;)

also I believe the world record was just surpassed a year or 2 ago from a buck in NM, the 2 previous WR's came out of AZ I'm quite certain with a score of near 96" B&C?

side note I would love to see a monster, 78-80" goats look quite large/awesome to me! an 85 or 90+ would just look insane in person I bet! Sometimes you see these monster bucks etc... all next to each other with their scores and you can't really tell how big they are since they're not next to a more average sized animal.
