My buck was killed at over 8,000' elevation but I have killed bucks in the lower country and as long as the meat is aged before processing, I've never had mine taste like sage or be "gamey".congratulations that is beautiful buck. I'm curious as to how a buck from the desert/sage brush dry land taste? Do they taste like sage?
I put a tape on him and came up with 191 4/8Congratulations on a fine buck. That looks like a lot of inches of antler.
Sage being one of my main herbs in bread stuffing, I thought they might taste pretty good.
